Preparation Advice

Before Your Facial:

1. Avoid Heavy Makeup:

It’s best to arrive with minimal to no makeup so your skin can fully benefit from the treatment. If you have makeup on, we’ll remove it before starting, but clean skin helps us start right away.

2. Skip Retinol and AHAs/BHAs:

Refrain from using retinol or active exfoliants (like glycolic acid, salicylic acid) 3-5 days before your facial to prevent skin irritation.

3. Limit Sun Exposure:

Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning beds at least 48 hours before your facial to prevent further skin sensitivity.

4. Stay Hydrated:

Drink plenty of water leading up to your facial for optimal skin hydration.

5. Know Your Skin Concerns:

Come prepared to discuss any specific skin concerns or goals with your aesthetician so we can tailor the treatment to your needs.

6. Avoid Waxing/Threading:

If you’ve recently had any facial waxing or threading, give your skin at least 24-48 hours to calm down before getting a facial.

Before Your Eyelash Extensions:

1. Arrive with Clean Eyes:

Make sure to remove all eye makeup, including mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow, before your appointment. Clean lashes ensure the extensions bond better for long-lasting results.

2. Avoid Oil-Based Products:

Avoid using oil-based makeup removers, creams, or products on your face the day before and on the day of your appointment, as oils can affect the adhesive.

3. Skip the Mascara:

Avoid wearing mascara for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Residual mascara can interfere with lash bonding.

4. Do Not Curl Your Lashes:

Don’t curl your lashes or use a lash lift prior to your appointment, as this may make it more challenging to apply the extensions.

5. Skip Caffeine:

Avoid consuming caffeine just before your appointment, as it can make your eyes twitch or make it harder to relax.

6. Wear Comfortable Clothes:

Lash extensions can take 1-2 hours, so wear something comfortable to help you relax during the session.

7. Be Prepared for Aftercare:

Lash extensions require proper aftercare, including avoiding water, steam, and oil-based products for the first 24-48 hours. We’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions after your treatment!
